Camera intelligence.
For the cameras you already own.

Preserve the recording. Prove the next workflow.

Changing a video system requires an inventory and a continuity plan before a new tool is introduced. Record camera ownership, recording obligations, stream access, licensing and export needs. This draft does not promise migration compatibility: each proposed Camza connection and workflow must be verified before an existing service is changed.

Review draft

Migration planning draft. No automated migration, camera access or feature parity is claimed. Confirm vendor terms and a tested target architecture first.

Use a staged evaluation

01

Define a narrow target

Choose one observable event and a small group of cameras. Agree what success and failure look like.

02

Confirm a permitted access path

Use the vendor-supported configuration for your equipment and license. Do not assume any camera exposes a usable stream.

03

Run in parallel

Keep the existing recording and incident process available while authorized stakeholders review the evaluation.

04

Review a documented result

Decide using actual compatibility, data handling, costs and operational performance. Plan rollback before approving a cutover.

Check the existing vendor’s options

Verkada documents Command Connector support for certain non-Verkada cameras over ONVIF and RTSP. That is an ingest capability for Command; it does not by itself establish a stream-export path to Camza. Confirm the direction of every proposed connection.

A few useful questions.

Can I try this on my own cameras?

Start with a compatibility request. Share camera models, firmware and the event you want to find. An evaluation needs an agreed scope before any camera access is arranged.

Is the website demonstration a product benchmark?

No. The sample demonstration uses illustrative scenes and predefined events. It does not measure accuracy, response time or compatibility on your cameras.

What should we agree before a pilot?

Agree which streams are in scope, who can access the data, where processing runs, retention and deletion, expected outcomes, and the person responsible for reviewing results.

Vendor documentation describes its own system. It is not evidence of Camza compatibility.
